​Nabadwip, the birth place of lord Sri Chaitanya, is always a seat of learning. Nabadwip Bakultala High school, the temple of learning, being a part of it has been carrying the torch of learning since 1875. The institution – illuminated, is illuminating and will also illuminate innumerable souls coming from different parts of the state. Infinite buds bloomed, are blooming and will also bloom from this temple of learning. This is not merely an institution; it is a joyous land. Students are the foster children of the institution. Due to the course of time the school gets a new look and environment with our tireless and earnest effort. Both Bengali and English medium sections are running simultaneously. The infrastructural development is quite notable. The entire campus is quite attractive - there is abundance of greenery, a well-equipped children park, kitchen garden, two separate flower gardens, a solid waste management, grey water, pure water supply for our loving students, rain water harvesting system, digital class room, well-equipped library and laboratories and so on. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance. We are always trying to foster the children in a pleasant, secular and conductive atmosphere. The students who are like our own children get education in a burden free and joyful atmosphere. There are ample opportunity to express their creativity in almost every sphere of creation. On-line education is another way for the student to get education. Parents & guardians are always welcome to communicate with the school not only through guardian meeting but also through Face-book, WhatsApp. I am quite grateful to my dear students, honourable guardians, respected alumni and the members of the Managing committee for stretching their cooperation towards the school. I sincerely hope that I shall be able to keep up the honour, heritage and glory of the institution in future.
Nabadwip, the Oxford the ancient Bengal has been the astounding seat of learning, culture and heritage. This seat of Vaisnavism has been learning the flaming candle of education from generation to generation. In the spreading the light of knowledge and education Nabadwip Bakultala High School has adapted positive and fecund measures till now. When education became a crying need in this holy place this institution took the responsibility and fostered a number of galaxy who illuminated not only the state but also the entire country through their valued and noteworthy enterprise. The school building was constructed entirely on donations made by the members of the public till the country became free from foreign yoke. After independence a new building was started in the present premises of the school after receiving a grant of Rs. 30,000/- from the R.R department, a further grant of Rs. 90,000/- from local development scheme help the extension of the school building. The institution was up-graded in 1957 with Humanities, Science and Technical streams. The glorious achievements in the past and present provided the institution with ample scope of being proud. In 1964, Commerce stream was added to the existing courses of the study. At present both Bengali and English versions are running simultaneously and successfully. The institution is a guiding star and illuminating the field of education.
